Mission/Vision: To publish in print both well-established & newer voices in a small, stripped-down publication that minimizes literary trappings and focuses on the work itself. We prefer the short, lyrical, and odd.
Note to contributors: Poems only. No cover letters. A reply from the editors about publication should appear within 120 days. Payment is made in copies. First serial rights belong to Cruel Garters then copyright reverts to and remains with the author.
Issue information: $1/copy in person. $2/copy postpaid. For further information, please contact the editors.
Editor bios: Glen Armstrong holds an MFA from The University of Massachusetts. His own poetry has appeared in publications such as Conduit, Poetry Northwest and The Cream City Review. He previously founded and edited the much loved but seldom purchased Sideshow Magazine.
Ben Bennett-Carpenter's work engages rhetorical and psychological strategies within cultural niches. He holds degrees in psychology and religion & culture and teaches courses in writing & rhetoric, creativity, and interdisciplinary studies. More at www.benjaminbennettcarpenter.com.
